The heart and soul of the country is in crisis. A cunning new enemy is presenting the biggest threat to beer since dry July. Super weeds are invading barley crops far and wide and herbicide giants can’t keep up. Mounting chemical resistance. Yield losses. Decline in cheer and merriment. Mass cultural extinction. The race against time to save an icon of the backyard barbecue is on, and it’s a fight we can’t spray our way out of. We demand more power to the people, less reliance on chemicals and stocked fridges in every home.
WE HAVE TO RAISE THE BAR, RESTORE THE BALANCE & SAVE BEER.

Here are our demands
LOCALLY DRIVEN FARM MANAGEMENT
Chemical giants are taking the piss. Every new herbicide comes with a catch, and we don’t mean mutant corn or three-eyed fish. Long-term strategies that work for the local environment depend on farmers having access to alternative, non-chemical technologies.
We’re sorry to be the bearer of bad news, but your hazy IPA probably isn’t organic. Primary production has relied on a healthy dose of glyphosate and genetic engineering for years. The good news is, farmers are starting to break this cycle and we can support them by drinking beer.
Our conscious buying choices shouldn’t be limited to which nut milk to get. Beer brewed with responsibly- farmed barley should sit right next to your pasture-raised eggs and grass-fed patties in the fridge. The more we understand agriculture, the better the industry becomes.
SaveBeer.Co is an initiative by the team at Seed Terminator. We’ve been part of the non-chemical movement since the beginning and saw the need to raise awareness about the underrepresented threat of weeds to sustainable farming. Beer depends on it – and everything else in the fridge for that matter.
